We, The Guild Co., are delighted to announce the formal establishment of our India entity, GuildCo Systems Private Limited. This is an important and crucial step in our efforts to establish the ecosystem we are creating across India, Japan and Taiwan.
This is a profoundly meaningful milestone (it may seem like a small step to some), one that is very close to the hearts of our founders (Anshuman Gupta, Jayasuryan Prabhakaran and James Ma), as they see it as a way to give back to the country that has given them so much.
Why Bengaluru: it is all about the brew (smile)
We have chosen Bengaluru (Bangalore) as our base in India, of course not because it is home to excellent craft beer (smile): Toit, Arbor Brewing Company, BLR Brewing Co., Byg Brewski Brewing Company and countless others. Wink wink.
Equally, or more importantly, Bengaluru delivers an excellent brew of deep technology talent, a world-class startup and innovation ecosystem, and proximity to India’s leading enterprises. It is the right place to build and scale what we are creating.
