To support India’s vision of developing a diversified supply chain and enhancing its manufacturing capabilities, our approach focuses on leveraging the strengths of Japan and Taiwan. Both nations are known for their innovation and world-class manufacturing processes.
By fostering strategic partnerships, facilitating technology transfer, and providing access to advanced solutions, we aim to help India create a diversified and resilient supply chain, reducing dependency on traditional sources, and positioning India as a global manufacturing leader.
We will drive this change across areas; however, how do you eat a whale - bite by bite; which is our approach. We have started with 'Intelligent Systems' as the primary focus for us as of now and will focus on it in the short-to-medium term.
India’s import from Japan was estimated to be USD 18.75Bn in 2024, growth of ~9.3% over the year before. Bilateral trade stood at USD 23.82Bn. Clearly not enough, there is just so much potential!
India bilateral trade with Taiwan was estimated to be USD 8.25Bn in 2023 (decline of 2.78% annually), substantially lower than their full potential. India imported goods worth USD 6.01Bn in 2024, this is absolutely not tenable and needs to be improved.
For reference, India's imports from China were estimated to be USD 121.97Bn in 2023; with bilateral trade totaling USD 137.2Bn for that year (1.5% increase). India exports to China were quite small (USD 16.2Bn) but increasing.
There is tremendous economic potential in India's relationship with Taiwan and Japan, we are working towards catalyzing it. We will break down cultural, business and trust barriers in our pursuit!
